How I search

Well, my tip for you, just ask google. That's what I ALWAYS do.

The love of a family

A two and a half year young boy with serious liver-problems needs a life-saving transplantation wich would cost around 200, 000 euro. something that the family cannot afford and that Portugal's Ministry of Health refused to help paying.

But the boy can thank his loving grandparents -they have placed their family heirloom, a two-bedroom property up for sale for 150, 000 euros.

But unfortunately, there have been no potential buyers- And the other costs that is affected buy the boy's illness tears on the family's bankaccount. For example, a box of special milk costs 50.10 euro and lasts for four days.

The operation is taking place in Portugal, but the conditions aren't what the boy can keep up with and the family wants the operation to be done in a better hospital in another country.

The National Health Board (DGS) has explained that hospital medical care aboard is offered in “exceptional circumstances”, in situations of “highly specialized medical assistance, through lack of technical or human resources, or an intervention that cannot be carried out in our country”.

Did I know?

Our great social studies-teacher Mikael Nordström showed us this video, about the huuuuge expanding of new technologies. It's pretty sick information in this video.

Mikael gave us an assignment, to the question "Did you know?". Here is my answer:

Uhm, I was aware about the expansion of the technology, but not that it was expanding with that speed. It's pretty sick. I mean, it works sooooo good with todays technology, and I can't understand why we need even more of it? Faster internet, better sound, more pixels in the cameras, thinner TV's? I'm OK with todays tech. I just think that we're playing with it to much, not that I'm NOT OK with it, but when someone can hack themselves in to my computer as fast as I can spell the word "I", it has gone to far.
